The Eagles, who’ve never won a Super Bowl, decided to bring in a National Champion to get some of that winning Juju in the building (because God knows, Doug Pederson didn’t bring any with him).
Jay Wright was at the NovaCare Complex – looking sharp, as always – where he spoke with the team and sat down with Dave Spadaro light. Presumably his speech was titled: “Bang– how to win with class and dress like a Champion”… but I wasn’t there, so I don’t know.
What I do know is that the Eagles put out these images and were sure to include one of Jay meeting Carson Wentz. Not pictured: SAM BRADFORD. Poor guy. Can’t even get the guest speaker photo ops anymore:
Of course, maybe Bradford, ever the sandy vagine, didn’t want to shake the hand of the man who waxed his alma mater in the Final Four. Hell, maybe Jay’s hand is still a little slick from all the product. But I wouldn’t recommend the franchise quaterback wash his hand. No, no. Savor that champion flow, Carson. Savor it… and then maybe put some in Coach Pederson’s hair. I hear champion flow is great for the silver sheen, and probably some sort of good luck.
Phil Martelli was not asked to attend… but I’m sure he’ll call Angelo tomorrow anyway and tell him what he would’ve said.
