Meet David Sirota, a political reporter who resides in Denver but hails from Philly. He’s in town (home?) for the convention. It seems the most heat he’s faced in his career is when Chris Christie called him a hack.

That is, until today.

Because David decided that he wanted to take a very public stand against, of all things, the placement of Philly’s sports stadiums.

David was in for a very bad day.

And there we see one of the quickest Twitter backtracks this side of a Lane Johnson social media misfire. Welcome back, David. Maybe stick to taking aim at politicians from now on. It’s a safer space.
