Lane Johnson wrote a piece for The Players Tribune today, apologizing for his previous behavior and extolling the virtues of Philly as a sports town, the same place he ripped when things got too hot a few years ago:

That experience of being on the sidelines — and the humiliation of being asked about it on a daily basis (and I’m still hearing about it from fans on Twitter) — hasn’t been for nothing. It forced me to reevaluate not just my suspension, but also how I carried myself in general. At times in my career I’ve lost focus.Well, I’m done with that.

That’s just the beginning.

Lane is clearly trying to win back fans (and teammates). He acknowledges he’s made mistakes. I can respect that. I think he’s acted like a big dumb baby at times in Philly, but I’m willing to give second chances. And that includes at left tackle.

It’s a well-written piece (Adam is convinced the players never write these themselves) and worth your time here.
