Last year, the Phillies recorded five total wins in Inter-League play. This year they’ve put up four wins against the Orioles alone to highlight a 9-4 overall record.

The Phils completed a season sweep of the O’s thanks to a 5-4 win at Camden Yards last night. Jorge Alfaro had a day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a triple short of the cycle. Cesar Hernandez also recorded three hits, and everyone but Aaron Altherr had at least a hit in the win.

Nick Pivetta had a much-needed rebound of an outing, going 6 2/3 inning and giving up three runs off five hits while striking out seven. He gave up a two-run homer to Trey Mancini in the bottom of the seventh to end his night. Tommy Hunter then gave up a solo shot to Jace Peterson on the first pitch, but that was all the Orioles were able to muster.

A weekend series with the Miami Marlins starts tonight before the All-Star break begins. Jake Arrieta is on the mound for the Phils, with first pitch happening at 7:10 PM on NBC 10.

The Roundup:

The 30th seeded Summer Sixers pulled off a monumental upset last night in Las Vegas, edging the 3rd seeded Phoenix Suns 88-86 in the Zhaire Smith-Mikal Bridges game. They were down by 14 at halftime.

Former St. Joe’s Hawk Isaiah Miles led the Sixers with 20 points and six rebounds. Furkan Korkmaz got going again with 18 points.

As for the actual matchup people wanted to see, Zhaire Smith finished with eight points and two assists. Mikal Bridges had seven points (all in the first half), four steals, and two blocks. But because the Sixers won the game, they also won the trade. Those are the rules, I don’t make them.

The team will take on Milwaukee Saturday night at 8:30 PM on ESPN2.

Former Giants head coach Ben McAdoo thinks New York (lol) will win the NFC East.

“I think they’re gonna win the division,” McAdoo told The Post, his first public comments since he was fired, along with general manager Jerry Reese, Dec. 4, with four games remaining in the season — the first time in 41 years the Giants dismissed a head coach in-season.

“I think Philly, how much success has Philly had?” McAdoo said. “I think they’re gonna have a hard time handling success. Dallas, I like their offensive line, but how long have we been saying that? Their defense, they got a bunch of young guys playing DB, Sean Lee is banged up a lot, and their D-line, they got a bunch of guys getting in trouble all the time. And Washington is Washington, right?”

I value his opinion as much as anything Skip Bayless, Colin Cowherd, or Jason Whitlock say. Maybe a job at Fox could be in his future!
