The Philadelphia Eagles are going to the playoffs.

They got what they needed yesterday evening by shutting out the Redskins on the field (and off of it by taking over FedEx Field) and the Vikings choking at home to the Bears. With that, the Eagles will travel to take on the Bears next Sunday afternoon at 4:40 PM on NBC in the Wild Card Round.

The game wasn’t a contest, even if the Redskins tried to gang up on Jake Elliott. After Alshon Jeffery’s touchdown catch, I shifted the majority of my focus on the Bears game. And it was great to see the Vikings just implode after signing Kirk Cousins to an $84 million deal this past offseason, which is ALL GUARANTEED.

Late in the Birds game, Nick Foles left the game with bruised ribs but should be fine. Nate Sudfeld came in and threw one pass, which went for a touchdown.

We know the team’s 2019 opponents, but who cares right now. Get through the week with Doug Pederson and Malcolm Jenkins, and kick down some doors.
