Saturday was a tough one.

After a big win against the Pacers on Thursday, it appeared the Sixers would get a win against the Thunder inside the Wells Fargo Center thanks to Jimmy Butler. However, after hitting a go-ahead layup, Butler lost his man Paul George who buried a 3 and later sank a free throw to complete a 4-point play. It would lead to a 117-115 win over the Sixers.

The game ending in itself was a story. There were also Butler’s struggles early on and a bad free-throw shooting performance. There was also the continuing beef between Russell Westbrook and Joel Embiid, which is pretty entertaining. Kevin discusses this in his game recap post.

There was also a familiar face on the Sixers bench, Markelle Fultz. Per Woj, Fultz is leaving LA to complete his rehab in Camden and aiming to return to the team later in the season. Fultz Jumper SZN is back.

Also, John Calipari called out Jimmy Butler for bullying Karl-Anthony Towns, Butler’s former teammate and one of Calipari’s former players.

Once again, the Sixers are on national TV at home tonight. This time, it’s against the Houston Rockets at 8 PM on TNT.
