Things started out great for the Sixers. Then, it nearly went down the drain.

The team did get a 111-110 win over the Pelicans, despite the Sixers leading by as much as 17 earlier in the game.

Tobias Harris led the way with 29 points and 10 rebounds, while Ben Simmons and Boban Marjanovic also dropped double-doubles. But Bobi was part of the disastrous end of the game for the Sixers.

With a team that couldn’t afford another injury, especially to their big men, it happened.

We don’t officially know the severity of the injury, but if we believe Serbia’s national team coach, he could miss the rest of the regular season:

So there’s that. Get Amir Johnson back and see what he can do. Or make Jonah Bolden the new backup I guess.

Up next is the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night. Will Embiid be able to suit up?

The Roundup:

Wayne Simmonds is no longer a Flyer. After not practicing with the team yesterday and players pouring out their support for him, Chuck Fletcher sent him to Nashville at the last minute for Ryan Hartman and a conditional 4th round pick.

Hartman should play tonight as the Flyers take on the Sabres at 7 PM on NBC Sports Philadelphia and nationally on NBCSN.

Now to Bryce Harper. Angelo Cataldi of all people breaking the latest. We think:
