Are you watering and fertilizing every day?

The Eagles are 7-2 since Nick Sirianni dropped that quote. We all had our fun responses with plant-related terms, opening wide Roget’s Thesaurus for some inspiration, and that has now translated to GMFB introducing their Eagles studio plant:

GMFB is one of the Crossing Broad staff’s favorite shows. It’s fun. It’s entertaining and informative at the same time. The talent mix is perfect. Any of these four could very easily slot into Get Up or another bland ESPN show and make it infinitely more watchable.

RE: Kyle Brandt specifically, he’s been doing these quirky Eagles segments for some time now. He did the “get off the leash and bite somebody” speech a few years ago. He also slapped down pathetic Giants fans who complained because their 6-10 team didn’t get into the playoffs when the Eagles tanked the final game of the 2020 season.

We’re not horticulturists at CB, but “Rooty” looks like a plant who doesn’t need a lot of water. You put him on the window sill and get him some sunlight. Water maybe once a week, or you forget and he starts looking droopy, so you you resuscitate and revive him. If Rooty’s growth is directly proportional to an Eagle playoff run, then we hope he resembles a Giant Sequoia by late January. Let’s get some Miracle Gro up in here.
