Ron Rivera isn’t going to trash his QB1 four days before the season. Let’s wait until the the team’s below .500 in November to get a real temperature on Wentz.
But…
At some point, where there’s smoke there’s fire. If he looks like a bad locker room guy and quacks like a bad locker room guy, he’s probably a bad locker room guy.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane in case you forgot. Darren Sproles reportedly got in his face because he was upset by the Eagles’ 2017 success. He didn’t like John DeFilippo because he was tough on him, and vouched for Press Taylor, who he was boys with. Alshon Jeffery trashing Wentz to Josina Anderson. Wentz quitting on the team and forcing a trade when he was benched. Players seemingly playing harder for Nick Foles and Jalen Hurts. Wentz not getting the vaccine last year and skirting ineligibility with the playoffs on the line.
There are enough instances out there to formulate the opinion that Carson Wentz is probably not the greatest teammate.
