Here’s Michael Rubin with David Adelman breaking the news. Adelman is leading the new stadium build in Center City:

I love the awkward basketball hold. There’s nothing billionaires love more than holding objects for photoshoots because they aren’t programmed to act casual. This looks like when Ed Truck handed over the reins to Michael Scott in The Office:

Couple things. I don’t know what the temperature is on Rubin around the city, but as far as billionaires go I liked him. I thought it was cool he was connected to rappers and athletes and throwing the coolest parties on the planet. Also, he’s a dork and he never had a problem leaning into that. I always hoped one day he’d become the majority shareholder of the Sixers and use his connections to sign some high profile free agent that would propel the Sixers to the title. I guess he can still do that. Without repercussions now too. James Harden pay cut *wink wink*. Adding another real estate tycoon to the ownership group doesn’t really get the blood pumping ya know?

Michael Rubin doesn’t seem to be going anywhere though. He rang the bell verrrrrry gently last night. The only one who gave less effort than that last night was Joel Embiid. Heyyo:
