Who's in the Wrong Here? Little Girl Takes Luis Arraez Home Run Ball from Phillies Fan and Throws it Back
This happened at Dollar Dog Night on Tuesday, but we were so caught up in Phillies fans sharing dogs with each other and getting signatures to extend last call we missed this little girl taking a Luis Arraez home run ball from an older fan and chucking it back:
When the opponent hits a homer in Philly you don’t get to enjoy the souvenir

It’s got Baseball Twitter divided:
Phillies fans are the worst in baseball lol

If I catch a baseball, I get the baseball. Only exception is if it’s when the outfielders are tossing the ball into the stands after warming up. Those should go to the kiddos

Haha that girl was great

Not just baseball l, but I have no issue with this

Not just Philly. I do not agree throwing it back. You pay a lot of money to go to a game. A souvenir keepsake is awesome. But everyone should make their own decision to keep or not. I got a ball at Astros Yankees game 2 last season. Hate Astros so gave to sister who loves them

The guy who got the ball taken from him seems pretty upset about it too:

First things first, this is a funny video. The epitome of “teach ’em young” in Philly. Also, that little girl has an absolute Howitzer connected to her right shoulder. I hope her pops has her playing T-Ball already. But I kind of feel bad for the dude who caught it. He obviously didn’t want to give the ball up and only did because he felt pressure from all sides. I don’t know if he had some sentimental value connected to it or realized that Arraez had a chance for the cycle and saw a quick cash grab. Then again, it’s just a ball. You’re a grown-ass man. It’s not like you made some amazing catch either. The guy plucked it out of the flower bed in left field:

It’s a rough watch to listen to a parent force their innocent child to take something from another person. I don’t think 99% of parents would have the balls to pull this. If they did, I think most would probably send their kid over there and see how the guy reacts, and once he shies away they’d probably pull the dogs back. I don’t know. It’s an all-time video and I would be lying if I didn’t laugh a little at the thought of a guy pouting in his living room watching the highlights later on SportsCenter playing back in his mind how he got emasculated by a kid who has a 7:30 bedtime. But I’d also be lying if I told you I don’t want to cringe out of my skin every time I hear the woman shriek.
I’ll tell you what though, this little girl is going places. She’s a total alpha. A killer. She’s being raised like Logan Roy. Take what you want and a path of destruction. She’s probably in Kindergarten taking other kids’ blocks and running a gum business at recess.
