The Philadelphia Flyers are back on a roll.

The five-game skid is in the past and they enter Monday night a -150 home favorite against the Arizona Coyotes while riding a three-game winning streak.

The Flyers moneyline seems like the first post-Super Bowl Stone Cold Lead Pipe Lock, for anyone diving into the non-NFL portion of the betting calendar. We’re going from Vegas casinos to PA online casino and NJ online betting. We’ve got the NHL and NBA with March Madness and Major League Baseball just around the corner.

The first obvious data point to note is that the Flyers’ three-game winning run started with victories over the Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets, both of whom are current playoff teams. Arizona is very much not a potential playoff team at the moment. The Coyotes have not won a game since January 22nd and last won on the road on January 13th.

The Coyotes are 8-13-2 on the road and suffered nine of their road losses by multiple goals. The Flyers covered the puck line in six of their 13 home victories and they’re currently +162 to clear the -1.5 spread on Monday night.

Speaking of goals, the Flyers could put a ton into the Arizona net at the Wells Fargo Center.

Arizona allowed at least three goals in each game of its current losing streak and three teams (Florida, Tampa Bay, and Nashville) put up five or six goals on the ‘Yotes.

That seems like an incredible recipe for success for the Flyers, who rank second in the league in shot attempts behind Florida.

By the way, the Flyers beat the Coyotes in their first head-to-head meeting, 4-1, on December 7th and Arizona could be checked out mentally because a return to Arizona to play four of five at home is on deck.

Arizona conceded the 10th-most shots in the NHL and allowed the fourth-most shots on goal per game to opposing centermen.

That will probably lead you to a player prop bonanza for the Flyers’ top line of Owen Tippett, Sean Couturier, and Travis Konecny. Konecny scored twice against Arizona in December on three shots on goal, Tippett had three SOGs, and Couturier had two attempts on net.

Tippett and Konecny both have shots on goal props set at 3.5, while Couturier’s sits at 2.5. Tippett had 11 shots in his last three games and had at least three shots in all of those contests. Konecny had three SOGs in every game out of the ASG break. FanDuel lets you put shots on goal in a Same Game Parlay, so that may the best option with Tippett and Konecny at three each.

If you want something simpler, the Flyers’ team total sits at Over 3.5 goals (+110 on DK, +130 on FD). You have the option to ladder the team total on DraftKings. The Flyers scored at least four goals on 21 occasions this season and they hit that mark in seven of 13 games against teams currently in the bottom two spots of their divisions. Arizona is second-to-last in the Central Division.
