The Philadelphia sports trifecta may not happen much this spring, so we have to enjoy it when it happens.

The Sixers, Phillies and Flyers are all in action on Tuesday night.

The Sixers are a massive 15.5-point favorite and their -1350 money line price is great for a parlay builder. Zack Wheeler is on the bump for the Phillies in St. Louis as a small favorite in a pitching matchup with Sonny Gray. And the Flyers are on a salvage mission in Montreal to try and rescue whatever is left of their wild card hopes. Despite their seven-game losing run, the Flyers are still favored over the already-eliminated Canadiens.

A Sixers/Phillies/Flyers moneyline parlay pays out between +217 and +225, depending on what sportsbook apps in PA and sportsbook apps in NJ you’re using. Not a bad price, but I think it all comes down to whether you want to place any trust in the Flyers.

Anyway, here’s a hodge podge of numbers and thoughts on how to approach all three games.

Pistons at Sixers

Let’s start with the most exciting team in the city right now.

Joel Embiid is back, the Sixers can’t stop winning, and they’re in great shape to, at minimum, land the No. 7 seed and host the 7-versus-8 play-in game.

Detroit stinks and only three-fifths of the projected starting lineup are legitimate NBA players. The Sixers beat the Pistons by eight, 18, and 32 points in November and December back when the Pistons were somewhat trying.

Embiid produced 33, 35, and 41 points in those three contests. I’d go ahead and smash the over 29.5 points on the big man and that will be the last time we see his points prop under 30 for the rest of the season.

I wouldn’t go too far deep into other player props because this will be a blowout and Nick Nurse could rest Embiid and other starters ahead of Thursday’s game against Orlando.

Phillies at Cardinals

Weird spot to break down since Sonny Gray is making his season debut for St. Louis.

Gray’s teetered the line between serviceable and above average for most of his career. He doesn’t do anything spectacular, but he gives you five or six solid innings most starts.

Six different Phillies faced Gray more than 10 times in their careers. Only Trea Turner has a career batting average over .250.

Unfortunately for the FanDuel Dinger Tuesday afficionados, there won’t be dingers in St. Louis. Gray gave up a grand total of eight homers last season and Wheeler allowed one homer in his last five regular-season starts.

The under 7.5, or more particularly the first-five under, is absolutely in play. I’d give the Phillies the edge just because Wheeler probably goes 6-7 innings easily, while Gray might be on a pitch count and St. Louis has a 4.55 staff ERA.

Flyers at Canadiens

Sigh.

Is there any hope left that the Flyers will turn it around?

If there is, I’d have to think this is the last stand.

Montreal already beat the Flyers once during the seven-game losing run. The losses just got uglier after that against Chicago, the Islanders, Buffalo, and Columbus.

The Flyers allowed at least four goals in every loss of the current skid. The Habs just allowed 16 goals in a three-game run against the Rangers, Maple Leafs and Lightning.

At least there’s potential for lots of goals and the over to hit? That’s really all I got on this one.

I think if you want to put a parlay together, Sixers ML, Phillies ML and the Flyers-Habs Over 6 is the way to go. It’s basically the same odds as the ML parlay.

And if you want to avoid the Flyers entirely, open up PA real money casino apps instead.
