Over the past two years, Conshohocken Brewing has done a series of sport-themed charity beers named after local broadcasters. The Flyers nod goes to Keith Jones, with an official release later this month:

Not an IPA? Hooray!

Jokes aside, India Pale Ale is great, if you enjoy the taste of your discarded Christmas Tree soaking for 2 weeks in a pitcher of toilet water. That being said, the only IPA I’ve willingly consumed since 2022 was Conshy’s “Zooisms” beer, the charity release named after Marc Zumoff that helped raise money for Philly Youth Basketball. Conshy also did charity runs for the Eagles and Phillies named for Mike Quick and Merrill Reese and Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen. The Jonesy beer completes the four-for-four quadrafecta.

The Jonesy event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29th at Conshy’s Puddler’s Kitchen location in Bridgeport. Proceeds for this one will go to Flyers charities and they’ve got a bunch of Flyers alumni lined up, plus a raffle, auction, and book signings with Ray Didinger, Mike Sielski, and Angelo Cataldi.
