Sad day today. Mo Speights, owner of the outstanding (@Mopeights16) Twitter account, is about to get traded.

According to a report by Bob Cooney (sadly, Kate Fagan will no longer be bringing us our Sixers news– she’s moving on to ESPN), the Sixers are in the process of a major overhaul to their gameday lineup a minor tweak which will land them second round picks in the 2012 and 2013 drafts: [Philly.com]

The Sixers would trade Speights to the Memphis Grizzlies in return for their second-round draft pick in June's draft, provided it is pick 31-55. That means the Sixers wouldn't get the pick if the Grizzlies finish as one of the top four teams in the league. So it's a pretty safe bet they'll get that pick.

The Sixers would also get New Orleans' second-round pick in 2013 as part of the deal.

Sweet! That NBA Championship is right around the corner. Now, if only we could turn The Well into a Broadway theatre…

Brilliant!

Reals: It will make a sad when Speights leaves us. His Twitter is the gift that keeps on giving at 3 a.m. when you need a fat woman joke, or when you want to see teammates campaign for playing time for their friend

For one final time as a Sixer, #FREESPEEZY!!!! FLY, BIG MAN. FLY!!!

UPDATE: Done deal.
