Yes, that Peter King.

Since Sammy boy asked to be traded, I’ve had a hard time figuring out where I stand on the whole situation. My first reaction of “OH MY GOD SHUT UP I DON’T CARE” subsided into more of a “Hmm.” Neither are complex feelings. I get what Bradford is saying, but I don’t agree with him. And I get the people calling him a crybaby, but I don’t agree with them. This whole thing has me so confused I ended up siding wholeheartedly with Peter King this morning. Please send help.

1. You have earned the right to be ticked off that the Eagles are going to draft a quarterback intended to beat you out.
2. You have not earned the right to go on strike over it.
3. You have been paid massively and so far have not produced to justify what the Rams and Eagles have paid you.
4. You control your fate. Be the best quarterback in camp, and you’ll play. Compete.

Kyle laid his thoughts out yesterday, but I had been finding it hard to get riled up about this, and I figured out why. Sam Bradford inspired nothing from me. No love, no hate, no anger, no trust. I feel nothing. I can’t empathize with him at all. So when something like this happens, where I’d usually fall on the side of the player, I can’t even bring myself to care how Sam Bradford feels. As King says, he’s got the right to be mad. That’s fine. He doesn’t have the right to make a huge stink about it, especially when it’s becoming more and more clear that his value in this league is pretty low.
