Today Is The Last Day To Enter The SugarHouse Sportsbook Pick 'Em at a Discount
We told you two weeks ago about SugarHouse Sportsbook offering the first-of-its-kind-outside-Nevada pro football pick ’em contest. It will allow users in Pennsylvania only to pick winners of Sunday and Monday games during the NFL season for a chance to win from at least $500k in prizes.
Well, today is not the last day to enter. But it is the last day to get in for $125. After tomorrow, the entry fee will jump $25 to – does math – $150. Users can sign up here— and if you are new to SugarHouse Sportsbook, you can also claim a $250 deposit match.

Hugely popular
While we don’t have visibility into SugarHouse’s betting handle in PA until monthly betting reports come out, I can tell you anecdotally that our first post on the contest, which is being run in conjunction with their sister site BetRivers, looks to be wildly popular.
The SuperContest in Las Vegas is a smash hit each year, and it was only a matter of time until a similar contest was rolled out for PA sports betting. We haven’t seen one yet in New Jersey, but SugarHouse and Bet Rivers were quick to bring it to PA.
How the pick’em works
Users can enter SugarHouse’s pick ’em contest up to 25 times at either $125 (until tomorrow) or $150 (after tomorrow) until September 8. Each week, they’ll pick winners of NFL games on Sundays and Mondays and be ranked against other players. The prize breakdown is as follows:
Place | Per Place |
---|---|
1st | $125,000 |
2nd | $40,000 |
3rd | $20,000 |
4th | $15,000 |
5th | $10,000 |
6th-10th | $5,000 |
11th-20th | $3,000 |
21st-30th | $2,000 |
31st-50th | $1,000 |
51st-100th | $500 |
101st-200th | $250 |
201st-400th | $200 |
401st-500th | $175 |
- | |
Most Incorrect Picks | $2,500 |
- | |
Week 1-17 Payouts | $2,500 |
Additionally, the person who finishes last will receive $2,500 (fun!), and each weekly winner will receive the same amount.
If there are more than $500,000 in entry fees, SugarHouse Sportsbook will increase the total prize pool accordingly.
SugarHouse also won’t take a rake on the event, meaning 100% of all entry fees will be paid out to players– an obvious attempt to grab more customers before DraftKings Sportsbook PA enters the market.
Rivers, too
Users can also sign up for SugarHouse’s sister site, BetRivers, and play there. The sites are virtually identical and both offer iOS, Android, and web capabilities.
