Spread | Moneyline | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Redskins | +10.5(-110) | +400 | Over 44.5(-110) |
Eagles | -10.5(-110) | -500 | Under 44.5 (-110) |
We put together a full Eagles vs. Redskins betting preview. But here’s what you need to know.
Since 1993, the biggest Week 1 favorite is only 12-23 against the spread (ATS).
NFC East teams aren’t very good as big home favorites in division games. Since 2005, they are only 6-12 ATS when favored by eight or more points. They’re also 0-8 ATS when favored by nine or more points dating back to the 2007 season.
The under has hit in all three of the Eagles’ Week 1 games under Pederson. It’s also 18-8 at The Linc since Pederson took over, and 13-5 when the total is 46 or less.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Falcons | +3.5(-110) | +166 | Over 47(-115) |
Vikings | -3.5(-110) | -194 | Under 47(-105) |
The Falcons are 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games against the Vikings. The line has shifted slightly in the Falcons’ favor, opening at 4.

---|---|---|---|
Ravens | -6.5(-115) | -300 | Over 40.5(-105) |
Dolphins | +6.5(-105) | +250 | Under 40.5(-115) |
This game is getting priced up and approaching the all-important -7. I grabbed the Ravens under a touchdown. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this as sneaky high-scoring.
At PointsBet, someone placed a $30,000 per point bet on the Ravens at -6.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Bills | +2.5(+100) | +128 | Over 40.5(-115) |
Jets | -2.5(-105) | -148 | Under 40.5(-105) |
Um, Marla Hooch, what a hitter.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Chiefs | -3.5(-110) | -176 | Over 50.5(-110) |
Jaguars | +3.5(-110) | +152 | Under 50.5(-110) |
I am selling everything about the Chiefs this year. Patrick Mahomes is flying just a bit too high heading into the season. Tyreke Hill is a bad human. And Andy Reid always disappoints. Going against Nick Foles and a rejuvenated Jaguars offense, which actually has a quarterback now, I’m playing the Jaguars hard in this.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Rams | -1.5(-110) | -128 | Over 49.5(-110) |
Panthers | +1.5(-110) | +110 | Under 49.5(-110) |
There’s been pretty significant line movement on this one. The Rams were up to 3-point favorites and then things came crashing down. They have to fly across the country and Jared Goff is not nearly the same quarterback on the road as he is at home. Also this:
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Titans | +5.5(-110) | +215 | Over 45(+105) |
Browns | -5.5(-110) | -245 | Under 45(-125) |
Tennessee is 2-6-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last nine games against the Browns. The Browns is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games. If the Browns are a true Super Bowl contender, they should win by more than a touchdown here.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Bengals | +9.5(-110) | +350 | Over 44.5(-110) |
Seahawks | -9.5(+115) | -450 | Under 44.5(-110) |
This is a big spread and all of the data from the Eagles game applies here. Big number for Week 1. That said, the Seahawks are very good at home. They are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games against AFC North opponents and 5-0 SU in their last five home games. And the spread has shifted 0.5 in the Bengals’ favor, cashing you out on a Seahawks 10-point win.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Colts | +6.5(-110) | +245 | Over 44.5(-115) |
Chargers | -6.5(-110) | -290 | Under 44.5(-105) |
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Lions | -2.5(-125) | -148 | Over 46(-115) |
Cardinals | +2.5(+105) | +128 | Under 46(-105) |
The line is creeping up toward a field goal here. Worth grabbing the Lions at -2.5 if it’s available.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
49ers | +1(-110) | -108 | Over 51.5(-110) |
Buccaneers | -1(-110) | -108 | Under 51.5(-110) |
Seems high given the two teams playing.
Spread | Money Line | Total | |
---|---|---|---|
Steelers | +5.5(-110) | +215 | Over 49.5(-110) |
Patriots | -5.5(-110) | -250 | Under 49.5(-110) |
Tom Brady is 36-10-4 all-time when favored between 5-7 points, and 19-3-3 ATS all-time at home in that range. He’s 12-0-1 ATS at home when favored between 5-6 points.
And he gets Antonio Brown next week. Cool.
