He explained it away by saying, “I mistakenly and foolishly put a prescribed medication in my body to help with a medical issue. I mistakenly failed to clear it with Eagles trainers and check the NFL list of banned substances.”
November, 2015: Lane Johnson criticizes Eagles fans, saying, “If we get down by any significant amount of points or we don’t make any first downs, we’re doing to get booed. That’s just kind of how it is. It’s not really home field advantage playing here anymore. Really, that’s the truth. Cats here, they don’t really care.”
November, 2015, hours later: Lane Johnson issues apology directly to fans in the third person on his Twitter account.
November, 2015: Lane Johnson gives up on this play.
December, 2015: Lane Johnson makes a thousand excuses and piles on Chip Kelly the moment he leaves.
January, 2015: Lane Johnson is criticized by Jason Kelce for complaining.
August, 2016: Lane Johnson is facing suspension for PEDs.
