FanDuel Sportsbook PA is set to begin its mandatory three-day testing period in Pennsylvania today. If all goes well, that means they will become the fourth PA sports betting site to launch.
Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board spokesperson Doug Harbach confirmed to Crossing Broad that the test will begin at 4 p.m, which would peg FanDuel’s launch in PA for sometime on Thursday.
“In partnership with Boyd Gaming and Valley Forge Casino Resort, FanDuel is bringing its mobile sports betting experience that is simple, secure, and more convenient than ever to individuals located in Pennsylvania,” Fanduel spokesperson Kevin Hennessy said in an emailed statement. “Under the supervision of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Monday, July 22 at 4 PM will mark the start of a three-day testing period for FanDuel’s mobile sports wagering app in the Keystone State.”
We had previously been told that FanDuel will launch with full iOS capability, which would make them only the second operator to offer betting on iPhones and iPads in PA after SugarHouse launched their iOS betting option last week.

Last year, FanDuel was purchased by European betting juggernaut BetFair, which now owns a 61% stake in the combined venture FanDuel Group.
FanDuel Sportsbook’s partner in Pennsylvania is Valley Forge Casino Resort, which will have its branding featured on the PA version of FanDuel Sportsbook’s PA site and app.
We are waiting to confirm iOS and Android launch this week.
FanDuel will join SugarHouse Sportsbook, Bet Rivers Sportsbook and Parx Sportsbook in Pennsylvania. We currently recommend SugarHouse as it is the only operator available on iOS and features an online casino in PA.
