The British Invasion was a success.

With Eagles fans dominating the UK for the weekend, the team itself pulled out a 24-18 win over the London Jaguars at Wembley Stadium, which was much-needed. Josh Adams had a very nice game, which was needed from at least one of the healthy running backs.

Kevin will have more on this shortly, but this was a really big win heading into the bye. Especially with the amount of injuries the team has, and you can add Lane Johnson to that list with an MCL sprain.

The party wrapped up with a big get together inside a London pub.

It was much better than having four players arrested.

Thanks to Robert Covington’s best game of the season, the Sixers held off the Charlotte Hornets in a 105-103 win Saturday night at The Center. RoCo finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals. His offense came when needed, but he also showed why he was one of the better defensive players in the league.

The team will start a back-to-back tonight at home as they’ll host the Atlanta Hawks at 7 PM on NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler-Sixers rumors continue with the Timberwolves turning down Houston’s trade offer of FOUR FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICKS.

But it very blandly, the Flyers suck. They lost to the Islanders of all teams on Saturday 6-1. And the team doesn’t look like they have “it.”

They’ll have some time to try and get “it.” They’ll play tomorrow night in Anaheim against the Ducks out west. The team is over on the west coast now.

The Union lost their regular season finale to NYCFC 3-1. The playoffs will start on Wednesday with the same two teams playing a one-game knockout match at Yankee Stadium at 7 PM on FS1.
