With baseball in their All Star break, there’s not a lot going on in sports. This is where Summer League comes in.

The Sixers had their third Summer League game in Las Vegas where they fell to the Thunder 84-81 in overtime in a wild game.

They were down by as much as 31 in the second quarter, but the team came back from that despite the eventual loss. Zhaire Smith led the way with 18 points, three assists, and five rebounds in just under 35 minutes of playing time, the most he’s played in any NBA type of game. Smith says he’s playing much more calm this time around in Summer League:

Matisse Thybulle scored 14, and Christ Koumadje racked up a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Up next are the Pistons tomorrow afternoon at 3 PM.

As for the normal Sixers, Kevin has 10 thoughts on the nearly complete roster.

Former Sixer JJ Redick has gold bathroom sinks in his Brooklyn apartment. He was never a true Philly guy.
