Reported Trade Candidate Devin White to Miss Brazil Game
Eagles open the season Friday night in Brasil without Devin White:
There were murmurs that the Eagles could trade Devin White before the cutdown—Zack Baun and Nakobe Dean both were really good in camp. So, fair or not, White missing the opener won’t help his case for a big role in the defense. https://t.co/6Sm5wIIETw

“There were murmurs that the Eagles could trade Devin White before the cutdown.” Yeah? I don’t remember hearing that anywhere. Albert Breer is plugged in, but he’s also a Bostonian Joel Embiid hater and possibly untrustworthy.
Either way, it means Nakobe Dean and Zack Baun are gonna have big roles to play in Sao Paulo. That’s… slightly concerning. But the beats who watched all of training camp do seem to agree that Dean had a good summer, and there’s been a curious amount of praise for Baun, a guy who has played very little starting linebacker during his NFL career. There’s also Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and some special teamers making up the rest of the depth chart, but linebacker is the biggest question mark on this team, and we really have no clue what we’re gonna get in Week 1 in America Del Sur. Buckle up!
