Let’s take a look at tonight’s slate and what you need to know in our daily FanDuel Sportsbook betting rundown.

Texans-Saints Odds

The New Orleans Saints and their fans can finally put the away the tissues after an offseason of insufferable complaining about being “robbed” of an opportunity to lose to the Patriots in Super Bowl LIII.  I know I’m excited.

Here are the current odds for tonight’s Texans-Saints game at FanDuel Sportsbook in PA. Odds are current as of 12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon:

      Spread     Money        Total
Texans     +6.5 (-110)   +235   O 52.5 (-110)
Saints     -6.5 (-110)   -280   U 52.5 (-120)

Texans-Saints Trends to Know

The Texans have struggled the last five times they have played out of conference, going only 0-4-1 ATS. The Saints, meanwhile, have specifically found success against AFC South squads, compiling an impressive 7-2 ATS record over their last nine games. However, the Saints are only 11-14 ATS when Brees starts at home against AFC teams.

The Saints are 19-7 ATS when Brees starts at home in prime-time, but only 8-6 ATS on Monday Night Football. They are also 6-6 ATS on MNF as a home favorite when he starts.

The Saints are 13-8 ATS with Drew Brees at quarterback when favored at home between 6-7.5 points.

Finally, the Texans are 5-10-1 ATS in prime-time games under head coach Bill O’Brien and only 3-7 ATS in such games as an underdog.

Broncos-Raiders Odds

It should be fun watching the ESPN crew dance around Jon Gruden’s dumpster fire that is the Oakland Raiders. The thing is, despite the Antonio Brown drama of the past week (five months, really), Oakland could actually win this game.

    Spread     Money        Total
Broncos      -2.5 (-110)   -154  O 42.5 (-120)
Raiders      +2.5  (-110)   +134  U  42.5 (+105)

Broncos-Raiders Trends

If recent trends hold true, don’t expect a ton of points tonight. The under has hit in 75% of Oakland’s home games dating back to the middle of the 2017 season, while the under has hit in the Broncos’ last five road contests.

Joe Flacco teams are 8-8-2 ATS when he starts as a favorite in prime-time games and 2-2-2 ATS when he starts as a favorite on the road in prime-time.

Derek Carr has excelled in home prime-time games as an underdog, going 4-1-1 ATS.

Phillies-Braves Odds

The Phillies return to Citizens Bank Park tonight after a 4-3 road trip only two games out of the National League Wild Card race. Somehow. They’ll send Aaron Nola (12-4, 3.63 ERA) to the mound opposite Mike Foltynewicz (5-5, 5.28 ERA).

    Spread     Money        Total
Braves      +1.5 (-174)   +118  O 8.5 (-118)
Phillies      -1.5  (+148)   -136  U  8.5 (-104)

The Phillies dropped 10 runs on the Mets yesterday afternoon despite missing J.T. Realmuto and Bryce Harper in the starting lineup. The Phillies are 8-4 this season after scoring 10 runs in their previous game and are averaging 4.5 runs per game in those contests.

The Phillies have lost each of Aaron Nola’s last three starts, despite being the favorite in all three of those contests. In 11 starts since the All-Star break, Nola has a 3.44 ERA while holding opponents to only a .211 batting average.

In four starts against the Braves this season, he’s 3-0 with a 3.60 ERA. Meanwhile, Foltynewicz went six innings and allowed one earned run despite walking five batters in his only start against the Phillies this season.
