I can’t get enough of Donovan’s Twitter account.
Aaron Hernandez’s trial should begin in about a year.

Shouldn’t it be not guilty. How the f did he ever learn the west coast offense???

June 27, 2013 at 5:26 pm
Seriously? Youre at the point where youre criticizing him for that? Using the word innocent over ‘not guilty’? Get a fuckin life and go back to the dirty 30 with that goon Cataldi, you jerkoff…And have you worn your Kevin Kolb jersey lately?

Wow, what a surprise…A blogger who whines incessantly about Phillys image as an obnoxious fanbase, and accused a journalist earlier of being lazy, makes an obnoxious and lazy post about a former philly athlete.
June 27, 2013 at 5:34 pm
Wow, what a surprise, a troll making troll comments.
The post by Kyle isn’t obnoxious and lazy. What is obnoxious and lazy is an individual (in this case, an athlete) asking the general public to opine as to an alleged murderer’s guilt one day after he was arrested, before the defense has had an opportunity to present any evidence or testimony. (I am not saying he is guilty or innocent, just saying it is lazy to ask this question so unbelievably early in the legal process).
What’s obnoxious and lazy is criticizing a blogger with the same, now almost cliche, troll comments.
And by the way, innocent and not guilty are not the same thing and should not be used interchanably. Innocent means the evidence proves he did not commit the crime. Not guilty means there was not sufficient evidence to establish his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, which is the legal threshhold to convict an individual of a crime. So back the fuck up.
June 27, 2013 at 5:57 pm
HOW DARE ANYONE CRITICIZE THIS BLOG! I’M GOING TO WRITE ANGRY TIRADES AT ANYONE WHO CRITICIZES CROSSING BROAD!
Get off Kyle’s junk, you loser.
June 27, 2013 at 6:44 pm
It has nothing to do with criticizing the blog. I have criticized my fair share of articles on this site. The problem is that you will bitch and moan about EVERY SINGLE POST. There could be an article about Ryan Howard saving a baby from a grizzly bear and you would complain that it isn’t a sports article. The McNabb post is a perfect example. Point out for me the part where Kyle makes it a race issue. I’ll wait…..
Bet you couldn’t find it right? Because it wasn’t one until you made it one by injecting your senseless and moronic commentary. You are the definition of a troll.
June 27, 2013 at 6:48 pm
Hypocrite. I haven’t seen one response to your angry tirades that was also an angry tirade itself. John clicks on article, comments on article again. CB-57 John-0
Oh ok so all the people on espn and every other sports network or radio station that are opining on the same topic are lazy and obnoxious as well, then? This is a stupid post because its just another thing that mcnabb does that gets way overblown by assholes who have a raging hard on for needlessly bashing him (which ,by the way, undermines any valid criticism of him and makes philly fans look like the animals were made out to be by the national media). Im sick of people bitching and moaning about our bad reputation, while we needlessly shit on the best qb weve ever had throughout his entire career and after it. (And before you retort, I know thst he did plenty that was deserving of criticism on and off the field and he liked playing thr martyr card, but he still got way more criticism than he deserved, especially early on in his career)
And im not a troll because I dont come on this site a lot, let alone comment on it. I used to frequent the site but since its gotten really shitty and lazy and full of racist shitstains in the comments section, Ive stopped coming. But every once in awhile I log on and find that every post I read is peppered with commenters saying the same shit I am about this site and how mucj its changed, so im not the only one, and im not trolling.
And again..Youre proving my point about the absurd mcnabb bashing with your differentiating between the terms…I already knew the difference number one. And nimber two, its a really fuckin simple question hes asking: Do you think je did it or not? And since you so so eloquently pointed out that its too early in the case for specifics, like the difference of being innocent or not guilty, then why are you even bothering pointing that difference out? At this point, as mcnabb included in his tweet, theres not enough evidence either way to get that involved, so what the fuck is the matter with a simple question thats guaging public opinion with what amounts to a yes or no answer? Please exolain what mcnabb did thats so incredibly offensive and stupid, because obviously youre a genius.
June 27, 2013 at 6:53 pm
The difference between ESPN reports and McNabb’s tweet is that ESPN, at times, actually brings in experts to offer legal analysis. You know, looking at the circumstantial evidence, discussing how it may or may not be enough to convict. As for my distinction between not guilty and innocent, it has no relation to what stage of the judicial process the case is currently in, so no, it is not premature. It is a legal concept, not an assessment of the case.
And kudos to you for being the savior of the Philadelphia fan! Thank you for correcting our image. God forbid we criticize a former athlete for posing a stupid question! And way to bring up “he’s the best QB we’ve ever had!” argument. That has no bearing at all on the criticisms He is receiving. If Dr. J or Mike Schmidt made a stupid comment would they immune from criticism because they were the best? Didn’t think so. You and John deserve each other.
June 27, 2013 at 8:42 pm
Again…what is stupid about McNabb asking that question? So what if he doesn’t have a legal team around him? He himself isn’t making any bold analysis or pretending hes an expert in law, hes simply asking what people think based on all those experts analysis and everything thats been reported so far on the case. Is someone supposed to keep their mouth shut because they dont habe espns legal team? Obviously he or anyone else isnt expecting anyone to provide riveting legal analysis at this point, hes simply participating in the discussion and getting other people to do so. Its obvious this case needs to unfold legally before one can make a proper judgment, but its going to be a long time before that happens. So what are people sjppose.d to do? Not talk about it or voice their opinion on the case at this point? So again…Whats wrong with the question? How is it stupid? Based on your logic, any average joe tweeting their opinion on Hernandezs involvement in this is stupid.
And the difference between he and Dr. J or Schmidt is that if it were either of those two who tweeted this, it wouldnt be a problem. No one would be talking about it. Thats my point in bringing up the “best qb” thing. Since day one hes had people doing this kind of thing. In his prime there were people wearing AJ Feely jerseys, taking the most miniscule things he did way out of context. So forgive me if I dont stain my maxi pad over this tweet.

Yay!!! Another ” stupid black guy” post from Kyle the racist! It’s ok. He’ll counteract this with a strategically placed “white people love golf” post when the US Open comes back to Merion. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Kyle – desperately trying to emulate and steal from Deadspin is doing you no favors.

@Troll Hamels…This proves my point.

I’d bet a paycheck that this that gaping asshole John in disguise. BTW, deadspin uses content from this website all the time.
June 27, 2013 at 5:53 pm
I’ve been telling you since day 1 about Kyle. He’s no good
1. Nobody forces anyone to read this or any other blog, so why is it that every day I see comments on here bitching about what’s written? Don’t like it, don’t read it, seems simple enough. The world is stupid enough without so many people endlessly bitching.
2. Why is it that a white guy can’t call a black guy stupid, when he’s being stupid, without being accused of being a racist? In this case, Mcnabb is clearly an idiot. His skin color has nothing to do with the story. Act like an idiot, you’ll be called an idiot, no matter what color you are.
June 27, 2013 at 6:14 pm
1) As I said above, I used to frequent this site and comment on it all the time, but stopped when the quality started to go down. Havent commented mucj since, but I wanted to now because I hate how much unwarrented criticism mcnabb gets, as well as the fact that I liked what this blog used to be and hope that adding my comment to the slew of other people saying the same thing, will knock some sense into kyle.
2) Not saying Kyle is racist, but whether its intentional or not, his comments section is always overrun with racist idiots for articles like this. And even though ots not fair to call kyle a racist, what kind of comments section do you expect to get wHeN hE Mayks FUn ov gUYZZZ lyKe DJaccs bY MOCKKIng tHE waY dey tALK, juzt LYKe THIS.
June 27, 2013 at 11:40 pm
That is… the way he talks. I M jus tryn B lik my boi jacccccpot ya herrr?
June 28, 2013 at 8:07 am
Wow, way to prove all of your critics right with your two comments on this post. Take any kind of cultural dialect or race relation course and youd learn that its that type of mocking and condescending attitude that holds race relations back in this country. And youre clearly mocking him because you and everyone else here knows that never in a million years would you ever have the balls to talk like that to any black person, you fuckin pussy.
June 28, 2013 at 8:15 am
And arent you the one who criticized other cities of being racist? Simply saying the word nigger isnt the only criteria for being a racist you fuckin idiot.
June 28, 2013 at 1:11 pm
Then tell the hoodrats to speak normal english and act like human beings instead of proclaiming its a cultural difference.
June 27, 2013 at 6:19 pm
@Brian: nobody forces you to read comments, so why do you have this psychopathic compulsion to respond to all comments that offend your tender sensibilities?
June 27, 2013 at 6:32 pm
I wrote ONE comment in response, so saying I respond to all is simply false. Also, is hardly call writing one comment a “psychopathic compulsion”, but thanks for the free incorrect evaluation

“You just got your asses HWipped…by a bunch of damn nerds. NERDS!!!”
June 27, 2013 at 7:17 pm
When I first read McNabb’s tweet, like most people, I thought it was pretty ridiculous.
But then I thought about the information that has been made public, such as the timeline of events the prosecution laid out at the arraignment on Wednesday, the judges comments today when she denied bail, and of course, the destruction of Hernandez’ cell phone, his hiring a cleaning service for his home, and his destroying of the home security video.
And when you put all of that together, that probably does give us (the public) enough information to form an opinion about Hernandez’ role in this murder. And isn’t that really all McNabb was asking, what our opinion was based on what we know so far? He wasn’t asking us to be the judge or jury, and we certainly haven’t heard much of the defense’s case yet, but perhaps we do know enough to form an opinion. I’m normally the last person who would come to McNabb’s defense, but after some thought, maybe what he was asking wasn’t so silly after all.
June 27, 2013 at 7:27 pm
The writer is not a Phila sports fan, he’s a Kyle Scott fan. Any sensible, honest eagles fan knows Mcnabb is our best qb in history and is thankful for his era, because outside of that window this franchise has been a disaster for about 50 years. Why do you constantly rip him? Please explain that.
And anybody who thinks Kyle isn’t at the very least completely blind to race issues is as blind as he is. You don’t have to drop the N bomb to be a racist.
Malvern+Nova= you only know white people. Use some of that ad money and take a fuckin race relations class you twat.
June 27, 2013 at 9:37 pm
People who come here just to complain, while still making Kyle revenue, are similar to closeted homosexuals who yell “Faggot!” while slamming a drag queen in the ass.
June 27, 2013 at 7:39 pm
Funny the dude making blanket statements about Malvern uses the name of a Malvern alumnus.
June 27, 2013 at 8:06 pm
What is wromg with you losers? Posting a three paragraph comment??? Losers
June 27, 2013 at 8:17 pm
These dorks do know there are other blogs out there?
June 28, 2013 at 8:55 am
A lot of dudes on their period in here. Man alive. How many of the 30 NFL players arrested in the offseason were white? Call me racist for acknowledging reality. Soooo tired of minorities still blaming whitey for their problems. self accountability for all colors! country is going down the shitter fast. McNabb ruined his own image by opening his big fat egotistical mouth.
June 28, 2013 at 4:49 pm
This thread is exactly why I troll this board. It’s hilarious with people saying all this shit they wouldn’t say in person. This is true entertainment! Sit in mom’s basement with a can of Vienna sausages, a ham sandwich, and a cold ginger ale and just refresh this blog. Love it.
Damn, my ginger ale just spilled on my pants… or is that,,,?,,, shit
